Conversation Stoppers, Village Voice 1980-1986

Conversation Stoppers“Conversation Stoppers” were tiny 2″ comic strips printed somewhere in the Village Voice, every week between 1980 and 1986.. They were always the first page I’d turn to, because they’d crack me up every time… The strips were based on Dick Tracy’s “Crime Stopper’s Notebook” from the 50’s, complete with handy holes to punch out for easy filing.. I’ve Googled the writers over the years, but always come up empty handed.. If anyone has any information on the authors of these brilliant gems, please post..
